Roosevelt Park

Kids on the Ball has brought tennis to Roosevelt Park since 2000.

Utilizing portable nets, low compression balls and junior racquets, we turn two public tennis courts into four mini courts at Roosevelt Park. Our program ensures that all ages are exposed to tennis. Our simple reward-oriented games allow all participants to find success.

Summer Camp

The past 22 summers Jake has offered free tennis at Roosevelt Park in the Old North End of Burlington. KOTB partners with The Boys and Girls Club of Burlington to provide eight weeks of summer camp. During the school year we continue to play with many of the same children at the Boys & Girls Club After School program. No sign-up needed; just show up! KOTB provides all equipment.

Junior Travel Team

Kids on the Ball’s Junior Travel Team practices twice weekly and plays in Friday matches. Players learn how to score, to serve, and tennis etiquette for matches with local clubs. KOTB participates in a free summer league with The Edge, Burlington Tennis Club, Stowe Tennis Club, and Middlebury Tennis Club.
